The Octopoda free trial lets you try a plan for 14 days with 5 credits, enough for one code scan or five pull request scans. A card is required to start it, and nothing is charged until the trial ends.

Start a trial

1

Pick a plan

Go to app.octopoda.dev/start, sign in with GitHub and choose Builder, Pro or Team. The page shows the price you will pay after the trial.
2

Add a card on Stripe

Select Continue to checkout. Checkout is on Stripe, which stores your card; Octopoda never sees the card number.
3

Start scanning

Your 5 trial credits are ready as soon as checkout is done.

When you are charged

When the trial ends, your plan starts automatically: your card is charged the monthly price of the plan you chose, you get that plan’s monthly credits, and the plan renews every month until you cancel. The Billing page shows how many days are left, and warns you before the trial ends.

Cancel during the trial

On the Billing page, select Invoices and card to open the Stripe customer portal, and cancel the plan there. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged. See Manage your plan and billing.

One trial per person

There is one free trial per person. If your GitHub account, or the card you use, has already had a trial, Octopoda cancels the new trial before anything is charged and emails you. You can then start a paid plan straight away from the same page: its credits are yours as soon as you pay. If you think this happened by mistake, email support@octopoda.dev.
